Café Bridge is a duplicate pairs tournament played during the day in a number of different cafés/bars/restaurants in one area, each round of the tournament being played in a different venue. All are welcome to participate – EBU membership is not necessary.

This time, we have decided once again to go to the Tonsleys as it is always a popular spring Cafe Bridge venue. Rather than supporting a local charity, however, we will raise funds for the Help Ukraine Emergency Appeal (www.gofundme.com/f/helpukraine). This is being managed by the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain, an organisation that is well placed to ensure the money raised will be used in the most effective way.

As usual, we will meet at the Alma Tavern at 499 Old York Road SW18 1TF at 10.30 for an 11.00 am start. The entry fee for the event is £35 per player - £70 per pair -  to include lunch at the venue you reach at half time. Play will continue until 4.00pm, and scoring will be done using your phone and the BriAn app.
