The 2023 edition of the Metropolitan Cup will take place on Sunday 1st October, starting at 11:00 and held on RealBridge. There will be a 45 minute break about midway through and the event should finish around 18:00.

In 2022, the A division was won by Kent, Sussex were second and Middlesex were third:

The B division was won by Essex on a split tie from Berks and Bucks, with Sussex third:

And the C division was won by Kent, again on a split tie, from Middlesex, with Berks and Bucks third;

As previously, each county may enter one A, one B and one C team, although there may be opportunities for additional teams should one or more counties fail to field a team in any particular division.

In all divisions, each team shall comprise eight players.

Entries may be made on the Middlesex website from 1st September or you may email me details of your teams, including EBU numbers for each player. The closing date for entries is 20th September which will allow time to get together any additional teams, if needed, to even up numbers.

Rob Sassoon, the Middlesex CTD, will be running the event, with assistance from others.
