The 2024 Guernsey Bridge Congress is run by the CICBA Guernsey,. The 2024 Bridge Programme has been expanded to include a Pre-Congress event that has a discount for players with an NGS grading of 8 or below, which we hope will encourage more club players to try out the competition for the first time. Plus the Swiss Pairs and Swiss Teams now have 4 sessions (of 3 x 8 boards) rather than three sessions as in 2023. We have also introduced a maximum cap to the entry fees (more details in the table below). We hope this will add to your enjoyment of the Congress.
In 2024 the Guernsey Congress will take place again at Les Cotils, L'Hyvreuse, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 1UU. Les Cotils is an elegant Victorian house on the edge of Town overlooking a tranquil setting in 12 acres of spacious gardens with views of the islands of Herm, Jethou and Sark. It has comfortable bedroom accommodation, a restaurant, a coffee shop, and free on-site parking, as well as conference facilities. It is a short walk to the centre of St Peter Port with its cafes, shops, bars, clubs and restaurants.
