The 2026 Llanbrighton Congress will begin on Friday afternoon, 5th June at 2pm with a pre-congress pairs, before drinks reception and an Open Pairs event (7:30pm) As this is a WBU Congress running in partnership with the EBU, this will see all players assigned to their relevant team for Wales v Rest of the World Trophy.  Team Wales will be all pairs with a player eligible to represent Wales (birth/parent/grandparent/resident). This will be a standard Open Pairs event with an overall winning pair but additionally each team will have all their pairs scores added up and divided by the number of pairs on the team to get an average score - the highest average will win the first event of the weekend. Will it be Andrea's Team Cymru or Oliver's Team Rest of the World who are victorious? Can Team Wales get their hands on Dragon at the 2nd time of asking???!!!
